CPR/AED and First Aid. (cannot expire before late May or all of June). $

Position Summary:

1. The Athletic Trainer will be able to demonstrate an ability to deliver athletic training services as defined under the 6 domains of clinical practice: prevention, clinical evaluation & diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, reconditioning, organization and recording, and continued professional development

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Minimum of a Master’s degree in Athletic Training, with current Arizona State Board of Athletic Training license (A.R.S. 32-4101) and National Athletic Trainer Association Certification, must have a medical director and written standard operating procedures (A.R.S. 32-4103.B), and ability to obtain AZ teacher certificate and IVP clearance card.

Experience: One or two years in athletic training setting preferred. Entry level graduates with BOC certification may be considered.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to assist with or transfer athletes of various weight/heights. Must be able to push carts with athletic equipment on them. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, have good mobility skills and be able to walk long distances. Must demonstrate ability to communicate to give adequate directions and instructions to subordinates. Must be able to carry training kit and coolers for long distances.
